Applicability and performance optimization of cooling towercooling systems in public buildings(1): Cooling parametersand switching temperature

This paper analyses the load characteristics of rooms in the inner zone during the transition season and winter, as well as the fan-coil cooling capacity under variable water temperature, to determine the highest air conditioning water supply temperature that can be adopted for different functional inner zones. Under the indirect cooling mode of the cooling tower, based on the heat transfer principle of the cooling tower and the target water supply temperature of the air conditioning chilled water, the switching temperature corresponding to different combinations of supply and return water temperature differences and air-water ratios on the cooling water system side is derived. When the supply and return water temperature difference of the cooling water is minimal (2 ℃) and the air-water ratio of the cooling tower is maximum, the corresponding switching temperature is the highest, indicating that the cooling tower cooling system can operate for the longest time. However, at this time, the power consumption of both the cooling circulating pump and the cooling tower is the largest. To achieve optimal energy-saving effects, the various factors need to be comprehensively considered.
